Enable AirPlay

As you know, you must be able to display your work on a screen via AirPlay. If you don’t have an iPad or recent Mac running Mountain Lion or better, you must purchase AirParrot ($13)  There will be no exceptions.

Install Slack

Sign up for this course’s Slack account with your maine.edu email.

Enroll in Course Site

Using your maine.edu account, enroll as a user on the class website. This will enable you to follow assignments, keep up with due dates, leave feedback for your peers, and post work due..

Engage Your Portfolio

Create a category in your own portfolio for your capstone project, like “capstone”.  Also please create sub-categories that correspond to class topics: research, timeline, budget, proposal, grant, design, promotion, funding, social media, audience.  It might be easiest if you use the class categories, but there’s no reason you can’t also use your own–a post can have many categories.  Subcategories should all have “capstone” as the parent category. You will post most of your assignments on both your own blog, and also on the class website.

Review Google Drive

If necessary this class will use a dedicated  Google Drive with unlimited storage for large files, video etc.
