Review the Ledger of Harms  at Humane Tech, as well as their pro-active Design Guide to see how you might be deliberate about what values you are manifesting with your work.

Class Presentation

Come to class prepared with a 5-minute presentation of your capstone.  This first pitch should include:

1. visuals–images of similar projects, snapshots of problems this project will rectify
2. title,
3. basic concept,
4. possible technology used,
5. intended audience, and
6. challenges you will face
7. your current skills
8. skills you will need to learn or outsource.

You can use Press, Powerpoint, Portfolio, Adobe Spark, as long as you include a URL where we can find your presentation in your post.

Post

Your post itself should provide a brief summary as well as a URL to your presentation..

Your goal is to help your collaboration team–this class–visualize and understand what might be involved, as well as elicit feedback and discussion.

If you have more than one idea, you may also present an additional 2-3 minutes on the alternative idea/s, but you need not fulfill all 8 aspects above. Make sure to include media or text-based documentation–images of similar or related projects, contexts where it will be used etc.
