{"id":94,"date":"2017-09-12T02:57:03","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T02:57:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/498.nmdprojects.net\/2017\/?p=94"},"modified":"2019-08-18T19:00:53","modified_gmt":"2019-08-18T19:00:53","slug":"gantt-charts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jolineblais.net\/capstone2020\/gantt-charts\/","title":{"rendered":"Gantt Charts"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How to use Ganttproject<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5rHCSa5ad34\">Youtube Tutorial<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>To create a task:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Double-click in left column, or click the big blue arrow icon at top.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Type the name of the task.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the dates by dragging the ends of the blue bar at right (tricky) or by clicking on the Begin and End date.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0You can always adjust a task&#8217;s properties by double-clicking on its blue bar at right or clicking the green rectangle-with-pushpin icon at top.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To group tasks together:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Create an overall task at the top of a list of similar tasks.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Indent the sub-tasks by hitting the tab key while selecting them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To create a milestone:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Create a task as you would normally, then open the properties dialog box and check &#8220;Milestone&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To show dependencies (when one task must be completed for another to begin):<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Click and drag from the end of one bar to the beginning of another to draw an arrow connecting them. Warning: may change the position of your bars in unexpected ways!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To show progress:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Hover over the beginning of a bar until the cursor turns to a percent sign, then drag from left to right to indicate percent completed.
