{"id":3723,"date":"2019-09-03T09:51:34","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T13:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jolineblais.net\/capstone2020\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=3723"},"modified":"2019-09-03T10:30:14","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T14:30:14","slug":"first-pitch","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/jolineblais.net\/capstone2020\/assignment\/first-pitch\/","title":{"rendered":"First Pitch"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Preparation<\/h3>\n<p>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/ledger.humanetech.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ledger of Harms<\/a>\u00a0 at Humane Tech, as well as their pro-active <a href=\"https:\/\/humanetech.com\/designguide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Design Guide<\/a> to see how you might be deliberate about what values you are manifesting with your work.<\/p>\n<h3>Class Presentation<\/h3>\n<p>Come to class prepared with a 5-minute presentation of your capstone. \u00a0This first pitch should include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>visuals&#8211;images of similar projects, snapshots of problems this project will rectify<\/li>\n<li>title,<\/li>\n<li>basic concept,<\/li>\n<li>possible technology used,<\/li>\n<li>intended audience, and<\/li>\n<li>challenges you will face<\/li>\n<li>your current skills<\/li>\n<li>skills you will need to learn or outsource.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can use Press, Powerpoint, Portfolio, Adobe Spark, as long as you include a URL where we can find your presentation in your post.<\/p>\n<h3>Post<\/h3>\n<p>Your post itself should provide a brief summary as well as a URL to your presentation..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Your goal is to help your collaboration team&#8211;this class&#8211;visualize and understand what might be involved, as well as elicit feedback and discussion.<\/p>\n<p>If you have more than one idea, you may also present an additional 2-3 minutes on the alternative idea\/s, but you need not fulfill all 8 aspects above.
