Analysis-TahjG

After watching the film I picked up on a lot of great cinematic qualities, the film does a really good job with it’s audio and the way it pieces together such a simple story. In the beginning this film they do a very good job of showing the setting in a unique way. When the boy is changing the flag from the pole, when the group of older boys walk by, when the older ladies are whistling while planting in the garden, these are all cool ways they tell a story without using a lot of dialogue. There are many more examples of this as the story goes on. The thing I liked most about this story was there was a bigger problem outside of the main story they chose to focus on, when the flags change it shows the switch in power of the country which was a really difficult time. It makes you think if the smaller story in this situation is connected to the bigger story.
