In the film “Farm Time,” I was heavily inspired by the piece in terms of my project. I have a high inspiration for nature and the wilderness and all of its beauty. So, I chose this one to write a report on.

The protagonist of the story are the owners from Maine that now have relocated to a more populated city. The challenge that they face is the fact that they are bringing their skills from Maine, a heavily farm-friendly environment, to a more densely populated city area where I assume does not strictly relate to the farming lifestyle. The largest struggle, though, is that they have to start from the beginning with no support from others. This means that they aren’t as well known and are lacking with resources in order to make a larger living out of the farming lifestyle in this new area. They changed the situation because they began reaching out to other farmers and largely branching out in order to get the required resources they need.

In this film, it is highly beautiful. The way in the beginning on the film they do a pan and the scene progressively changes through different seasons. Not only that but they make use of the rack shot frequently which I think is extremely important in terms of capturing nature and transitioning to the “human aspect.” The sun light in this piece was annoying and it was warmed down so that it wasn’t a blinding white. The warmth throughout the piece I found really brought the vibe of fresh farm crop in the hot summer.
