- Dialogue
a. In the first film yes there was some dialog between the end but only like 3 words. second film, noting was said at all.
b. Well in the beginning of the first short film you see that there are some whispers which sound creepy but then leads to another thing quickly which then makes you wonder and a little bit at the end to let you know something. Second film you don’t hear dialog but you can make up words with what you see, or how they would talk if they did.
c. The dialog is is very well paced where there is not to much and not to little but perfect where it flows and you can understand what is happening with two or more people. This is really two good examples where the phasing of the film is perfect and you dong get lost but enough for you to think what is going on.
d. Yes you can see it in the first film where the say something and it becomes true to the word. The visuals and the dialog set up the perfect moment where things need to be described in a situation where its deep and serious.
2. Effects
a. Yes, the sound effect makes sense and follow the order where the person is trying to communicate with just sound and no voice. It has to so it can make a feeling.
b. There is cretin sound effects were the its tells a story. You this in both films. The first one when the girls are jump robing indicating fun, and the second film where the drops the drink on the shoe, it indicates a wow moment and shock.
c. You can see it in the second film where there is black and white effect giving you a cold, and and simple look. Also in the first one where all the young adults are in colorful clothes, and when the meet the grown ups it just simple black.
d. The effect do give tone to give a realization of what is going on to make the point of the films. It gives it a feeling of what you need to choose the right option.
3. Music
a. There isn’t much music only in the first one where the girls are sinning a song. The genre of the music is a happy feeling.
b. The music is at first in the front for some time but fades away as time goes to another point of view.
c. The music tells us one thing and that is that these people are happy doing what their are doing. It gives a generalization of the seeing where what types of people they are. Its use in a good phase and a good timing to let other things also follow a pet tern of fun and being kids all over again.
4. Literary and theatrical elements
a. The sound design makes up for the films feelings towards each individual to give them a specific role in the films.
b. The sound works best in the images in both films. For example when the guy spills the drink and makes a sound to alert the other guy what is happening. Also when he goes to his room and finds him zipping up and down knowing he did something wrong.
c. The sound in both films gave a tone of what each person was trying to do. Weather it was cleaning the shows making sense of value, or playing around to and laughing and beginning them own selves.
