A – Process

1. During this project, my main role was as camera operator. I helped set up and used the camera for most of the shots. Other than that, I was more of a creative director, making sure all the audio was fine and everything was set up in the best positions.
2. Yes, I was properly prepared. This project was not much different than other projects in terms of skills needed. Yes, I completed the sound work in lab. Yes, the edit had everything.
3. In this group more so than others, things were easy in the sense of communication. If something was bad, we’d tell eachother. We’d make sure everybody was on the same page. Through our togetherness, the project was able to be done in a timely manner and have everybody do a little bit of everything.
4. For the next project, in terms of post production, I’d like to get better at color correcting and really showcasing a video as best as it can be.

B – Video Analysis

1. I think the overall quality of this promo video was a 7/10. The editing could have been better and the camera and colors could’ve been more clear, but the message is pretty straight forward in my eyes.
2. Throughout the video there is always sound. Whether it is music or dialogue, there is never silence. The pacing of the shots are slow and spread out, but we hope to add more to that.
3. Overall, the dialogue and music mix well together. We may need to bump up the volume of the dialogue at some points, though.
4. The quality of the dialogue is really clear. Like I said before, we may just need to raise the volume at some points.
5. In terms of impact, I think everything fits well together in the video to make it coherent to viewers.
