Project 1 – Colby Cote
SCRIPT
Scene I: Int. Apartment Kitchen – Night time
GUY is having Mac’n Cheese in the kitchen.
SHOT: WIDE SHOT of GUY leaning on counter near microwave.
CUT to outside with silhouette of ROBBER outside, watching GUY through
a window.
SHOT: SIDE SHOT of ROBBER’s face, CLOSE UP.
ROBBER smiles. Back to original shot, ROBBER steps out of frame,
menacingly.
CUT back to GUY finishing the Mac’n Cheese and putting it in a
rubbermaid container.
SHOT: SIDE SHOT of fridge door opening with window in background.
GUY opens fridge door and puts Mac’n Cheese in the fridge. As he
closes the door and leaves the kitchen, ROBBER starts to peak through
the window.
SHOT: Faucet turning on in bathroom.
GUY is brushing teeth at the sink. After finishing, he heads to his
bedroom and goes to sleep.
SHOT: Shot of GUY on phone in bed.
GUY puts his phone on his bedside table and turns off his light.
CUT to front door.
SHOT: Door handle, from inside, CLOSE UP.
Front door is shaking a little bit, as seen that it is being fidgeted
with. Door slowly creeks open. ROBBER slowly walks into the apartment.
SHOT: ROBBER’s hand with knife by his side as he walks down the
hallway.
SHOT: Back to the shot of GUY in bed. As ROBBER steps into frame, with
knife in hand, camera rotates as it appears as GUY has his bed on the
wall.
SHOT: Upwards shot looking at ROBBER, beginning to smile, menacingly.
CUT to ROBBER leaning against counter as he is reheating Mac’n Cheese.
SHOT: Shot of Mac’n Cheese in microwave.
ROBBER takes the Mac’n Cheese out of the microwave and starts eating
it.
Scene II: Int. Apartment Kitchen – Morning Time
GUY walks into kitchen to see the front door slightly open. GUY walks
over to door, very confused, and closes it. He looks over to the
counter to see the Mac’n Cheese bowl with note. GUY walks over and
reads the note.
SHOT: Over-the-shoulder shot reading the note. “Thanks for the dinner
— XOXO”
GUY is pissed his mac and cheese is gone.

over to door, very confused, and closes it. He looks over to the
counter to see the Mac’n Cheese bowl with note. GUY walks over and
reads the note.
