The most difficult aspect of the project was cutting the film down to just a minuet. I felt with this by figuring out what shots contained the most integral concepts of the short film, and sticking to only those shots. The most enjoyable part was being alone to make all the decisions for the film. I respect other’s visions for a project, but I prefer to create what I alone see in my head. I was most proud of figuring out how to use time-lapses in the film. It definitely helped display the message I was trying to give. This project helped me to realize just how much time I spend on my phone/tablet/laptop every day.

I shot the film mostly as still shots and added zooms in post. I am framed in the corners of the screen and the focus is on me. There is audio and music in my film. Both Id say are well balanced and clear. They also fit the mood to support the story. I tried to keep each shot to exactly 5 seconds and therefor does not linger too long on any shot. I believe that everything flows smoothly. I am very satisfied with the outcome of this film, especially considering all the other things I had to do this week. I think it very effectively portrays my message.
