Jackson and Caitlyn ask the questions to the people we interviewed.

The only person that we had to contact beforehand was the RA, but the rest of the people that we interviewed were students living on and off campus. We learned more about the topic as we were doing interviews because we could see the recurring problems that students were bringing up. When it came to B-roll, we just got shots of students walking along campus and people driving by. We didn’t need that much because of the number of interviews that we had.

I didn’t play a massive part in the editing, but we all chipped in as a team to give some suggestions on how the editing process could be better. There were no significant problems when editing the documentary because we had all the footage we needed, it just came to the point of how we are going to cut up all the footage to fit the time frame.

I think we fulfilled the objective we were trying to accomplish. We got the B-roll that we wanted and we got the interview that we needed as well. When looking at the final product, I think the background music fits with the topic because it isn’t too annoying or too quiet and mellow. The interviews this topic to its fullest because it is nice to hear of what other people have to say about the issue.

I don’t think there are many ways to make the experience any better because my team worked well together and were able to devise a plan, especially with everyone’s varying schedules. Overall it was a fun process and enjoyed working with my teammates.
