For our project, Brett had the role of editing. Michael and I had roles of filming and directing. While the rest of the group contributed in acting roles. For this project, we reached out to Ian Donnelly to serve as an interviewee and travelled around campus for B-Roll shots. The idea of the project was to portray a comedic theme to mimic a nature documentary observational piece on students as a species.
In conclusion, I felt that our group did a great job navigating through the parts of production and all contributed a significant amount. Overall, I’m satisfied with the piece given the time restraints. I think that the shots served great effectiveness in portraying the overall image we were trying to bring out. Brett did a great job in the editing process wrapping the project together. In further work, I would really like more time given in class to be able to work on these projects. It would allow for all group members to be present for the project and all parts of the production process.
