Report 3 – Aiden Nolan

A:

  1. I did a bit of a few things. I helped with the directing, video work, and gave a lot of feedback to Aaron’s editing.
  2. We were properly prepared. I completed the sound work in Lab. The edit was most definitely completed with all of the appropriate visual and sound elements.
  3. I unfortunately missed the intro filming, but was there to help with a bit of the recording of the actual console and I found and pulled the retro commercials.
  4. I think some more B Roll. We had classes canceled a lot during this project and didn’t have the proper time to record more footage of the Vectrex itself.

B:

  1. I feel like the message was easy to understand and was conveyed well.
  2. I thought the pacing might’ve been too fast in some points, but there was a lot of great information we had we did want to put most of it in there.
  3. I thought the sound elements were one of our strongest features in this video. We put in a lot of effects and worked hard to find proper tracks and sound effects to give it an authentic 80s feeling.
  4. The dialogue quality was good, but we did have a lot of talking.
  5. I thought the impact was a positive one. Aaron and I originally envisioned this as a more over the top parody of what 80s commercials were. We wanted a lot more zany fun incorporated, but due to classes being cancelled, we were unable to gather the required footage.

C: I like to think that Arturo liked it, but I’ll leave that up to him.
