The aspect that I found challenging throughout the project was the editing because to I was only able to get rid of some of the haze without making the video look really weird. I wasn’t able to get rid of the light glare from the vr headset, but was able to fix the lighting a bit. The aspect I found most enjoyable was working with my friends and how they over exaggerated their acting to make the film seem a little cheesy. I was a proud that I was actually able to film and edit a video completely on my own, it was hard to make it look good in a minute but I think I managed to accomplish the task at hand. What I learned about myself is that I am capable of doing something like this in the future even though my editing skills are not that up to par I can still do it.
I tried to mix it a little with the shots so it didn’t look weird. I would say there was quite a bit close up shots so show the interaction between the two people. Out of the whole film I only put two sound effects to show that James shuts the door and that he hits the wall and knocks himself out. I didn’t really see a need for music because I thought that would be too distracting to what was going on. I would say it paces somewhat well and there are some shots that I believe that could have gone on longer. It was hard to try to cut the shot into one minute while still be able to tell the story. Im satisfied with the final project to a degree, I tried my best when it came to fixing the lighting and the haziness of the video but there was only so much I could without making the video look too dark or too bright. Overall i still think it gets its point across.
