Report 4 – Colby Cote
Nothing was challenging about making this film surprisingly. It was actually a last minute idea since the original idea I had would’ve taken too long to film. The cinematography was my favorite aspect because it made the situation look more intense from the different angles that we used. I was mostly proud of how fast we were able to get the film done in an hour since I changed my mind right off. During this project I learned how to work with different people and listen to their ideas. I also learned how to edit more which is very useful.
The shots were angled in a way to make the shots look more dramatic. We used a variety of shots that made the film come together pretty well I think. There really isn’t much dialogue or music in the entire film. The only noise you hear is background noise from the frogs since we were outside. I think the pacing of the shots were pretty good. They weren’t dragged on too long but they also weren’t short to the point where to couldn’t tell what happened. The only editing I really had to do was cut the shots to a decent length and improve the sound. Overall I’m satisfied with how the film came out even though it wasn’t what my original idea was. I’m mostly proud about how quick I got the film done with little time to do it since I changed my idea.
