A

1. The hardest part was just getting the shots I wanted of me while working by myself. I overcame the problem with my roommate’s tripod.
2. I was fun having this whole project be something I did completely on my own other than the actors in it and a little help mixing the music with my roommate. The creative freedom is truly unique.
3. I am proud that I was able to complete the project and it didn’t come out as well as I would have like but Im satisfied with it for sure. Also the music. I had to get around the copyright issue for this certain song so I had my roommate record me playing the song and coming up with the vocals and my roommate messed around on Ableton and came up with a nice edit.
4. I learned that I need more practice with editing. I feel like I got the shots I wanted and framed them to a decent extent. The only thing I got hung up on was the editing and putting in the credits. Pretty annoying.

B

1. I thought my shots were framed well. I made sure the main character in the frame was in focus and in the appropriate portion of the screen for the shot I was framing. Theres not a wide variety of shots unfortunately. I wanted to have more of following shots but I didn’t have time or anyone to follow me with a camera. Had to work with what I had.
2. The music is cool because its a remix of a great song by Gregory Alan Isakov. The song fits perfect it gloomy and sad for the majority of the movie and then right when the happy girl (Esme) enters the room there’s a beautiful chorus that sounds redeeming and uplifting. My roommate and I recreated this song and I thought it came out really well. I mean nothing ever sounds as good as originals but I’m happy with our version.
3. Im not super stoked on the editing job that I did. I think I did a good job getting the colors right and the grain and washed look added to the footage but there are some jarring cuts. The pace of the story is pretty accurate and decent. Theres not much suspense but I did make the timing work out pretty well between the music and the climax of the film. Im happy about that.
4. Im satisfied with the project I created. I wished I had a little more time to come up with a better story but other than that I feel good about the finished product.
