Narrator:<\/em> Mr. Hickey is having us write these letters to our future selves to get us excited about our future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> sounds dumb right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

((girl goes to mirror and stares in dissapointment)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> in case you don\u2019t remember what it is like to be a freshman in high school<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em>  you aren\u2019t missing out on much other than crowded halls, drama, and writing essays about our future selves <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator: <\/em>Hopefully, you like college a lot better then I am currently liking high school <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em>  Penn state? Harvard? Maybe Yale?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(wide of people shuffling into the room but girl remains alone)

Narrator: <\/em>Not that you have to but you know how mom and dad are about education<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(lecture is in progress but it is obvious the girl is not mentally there)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> you saw the screaming match mom and dad got into when gage said he wanted to go to the military and skip college<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Back in the dorm the girl falls into her bed wide then transitions for an extreme close up of her eyes shutting)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Mom says that it is a lot of work and I won\u2019t have time to socialize but how hard can it be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Eyes flutter open with a change in lighting to signal the changing of time)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> I pulled my first allnighter last week and it was easy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(rolling over she checks her phone close up to extreme close up with a snap from someone asking if she is coming tonight)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Enough about grades How are your new friends?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(girl then proceeds to get ready for the party putting on makeup to taking shots and making a mixed drink)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Do you still, talk to grace and Kelly do you guys decide to go to school together?
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> I bet you guys will have the cutest dorms
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> ohhhh do you have those nasty communal showers you have to share with people.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> how are all the new people?
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> it must be soo different from the small town of Canton
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Mom says I’m a social butter so I know you’ll have no problem making friends
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> What clubs did you join?
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Oh! Did you decide to join a sorority<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> You could be just like Elle woods
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em>  I hope everything is just as good as legally blonde said it would be

Narrator:<\/em> Remember all the crazy stories kelly use to tell us about her older sister<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Walking in a crowded party we begin to see the girl loosen up and smile dancing with people as if she has known them for years)

Narrator:<\/em> How she went to crazy parties and woke up at guys houses
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> That\u2019s scary but I know you, grace, and Kelly will stick together at parties<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> but school comes first right<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(the fun she is having begins to get out of control transitions quicken to speed up the pace)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> This letter probably seems silly
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Because you are busy studying or getting an internship
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> Ya know doing real adult things<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(quick flashing to black happens back to the party)
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> I hope you are making mom and dad proud<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrator:<\/em> You’re gonna do great  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
