My lab group and I had decided to write about the adjustments of college. Although this isn\u2019t action-packed, we believe there is a lot to show and talk about when considering this transition. I have witnessed this, watching how people adjust and grow when they move on to college, regardless of the school. The first scene will open on a medium close up of a student at his desk in class. There will be lots of color and noise until he then receives an F back on his first exam. When he realizes he got a bad grade the sound will muffle out, to emphasize his thoughts. At this point in the video, the film will \u201crewind\u201d back to the day before, showing a series of events that didn\u2019t end in a positive manner. These events will be representative of what \u201cadded up\u201d to the opening scene. When the \u201crewind\u201d is over, the day will continue dark, loud, and gloomy. There will be more short clips, that all represent tough, hard times. Around halfway through the film, the main character will find himself wandering, where the sound is still not muffled but amplified, with a wide shot to display chaos and vulnerability. This could take place in a dining hall, or a large walkway. The main character will be walking alone so that the viewers can see how he is lonely. A lot of the colors in the film will be dark, blue, grey, until the final scene. In this final scene, the noise will be amplified and colors still dark, then the character will bump into another character, who will also be wearing blue. The blue will help represent sadness and show that they are both lonely. When they bump into each other, the sound will become more muffled again, soon they start to talk and realize they have the same problems. When they start to talk more, the color comes back and the sound becomes less chaotic. This creates less stress and more happiness. Many shots will be handheld with a lead room or wide shots. These can all display feeling and perspective from the character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this film, my group and I will need a tripod, camera, some sound recording and effects to have the colors change. We will need a few actors to help play these roles. A lot of the filming can be taken in classrooms and outside the classroom because the story revolves around school and friendship.
