Scene 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scene opens on an ice hockey field. Three players have seemingly had to stay behind after practice. The Head coach paces in front of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Heach Coach (to people off screen): Alright great work today We\u2019ll see you tomorrow. (1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Three players slowly are trying to leave\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head Coach: Oh no, not you three. This is the third week of practice and you three still haven\u2019t learned to get along. (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 1: Well when these two losers are on the team- (2)<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
The three players immediately begin quibbling and calling each other names. (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head Coach: Enough, freshmen! Listen if you three are going to be on my team you\u2019re going to need to go through some extra training. (4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 2: MORE Practice? These idiots will never learn anything. (5)<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Head Coach: Consider it more of life lessons than practice. I\u2019ve called in a special coach who trains in the art of Zen. (6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Zen coach enters the scene, arms positioned in namaste mode.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Zen Coach: Namaste, young participants of the most violent of sports. It\u2019s time you balance your chakras. (7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The players look at each other in worry. (8)<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Scene 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zen Coach: Alright my disciples let\u2019s get rockin\u2019 (1)<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Cut to a montage of cheesy team building exercises and calm meditation music. Stacking rocks, meditating.. Ect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Half way through cut to the players<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Players 3: Man, this stinks more than you guys. (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cut back to montage. After a few more moments the montage ends. Cut to Zen Coach and Head coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zen Coach: I\u2019ve taught them all of my teachings. It is time for them to keep themselves balanced now. (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zen coach fades into the ethereal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head Coach: Well\u2026 That\u2026 (4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Players 1,2&3: Sucked. (4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scene 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is once again after practice. (hear coaches voice say, \u201cgood practice team\u201d). Players 1,2 & 3 are laughing together and packing their gear. (1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 1: Guys, I don\u2019t know what came over me. You two are actually pretty awesome. (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 3: Yeah man, I\u2019ve had a good time with you guys. (2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The three wave to the head coach as they are leaving the rink. (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head coach: Hey hold on a second! (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 2: What now? (3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head coach: You three have completely turned it around and are playing your best game. I\u2019m starting you tomorrow night! (4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player 1: Woah! I can\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head coach: Well, you earned it! I wonder what made you three all turn around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Players all go into thinking mode, and say \u201cHmmmmm\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The screen fades to an extreme close up of the Zen Coach, making a face as if he is experiencing true nirvana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
