I was an editor in the making of this project, and I was able to complete this task. The way I completed this task was that I organized all the videos in the time they were filmed so it would be easier to edit them in time with the script. We had a few obstacles because we had to reshoot the entire film and make an entirely new script because our first video did not come out as well as we expected it to be. It was a little confusing at first because of the whole mix up, but I was able to fulfill my task.<\/p>\n
Our team worked very well together, and we had a fun time filming our project. Everyone did their part and was very cooperative. We did come into our fair share of issues, and it was mainly peoples availability which played a huge role in it. Our group members had very different schedules, and it was hard trying to find the right time to film because they had classes or work, but we saw that we didn’t need everyone present to get the filming done so over the course of those days it would vary between 3 or 4 members were there during the filming process.<\/p>\n
When it came to our finished product the camera work was well done. The shots stayed in focus, and it seemed overall consistent. There was a wide range of shots so you could see the perspective of the characters at plenty of angles. It did not feel like any of the camera shots made the film east to know what is going on, so the person watching does not get confused about what is happening. We used music in our intro scene to add some effect leading up to our first shot. Audio was also used throughout the film to give some comedic effect and to give the viewer a concept to what is happening.<\/p>\n
Editing in the video was executed very well because the intro adds some tension leading up to the first shot showing the viewer a little backstory to what is going on in the film. The shots connect well together, but some shots dragged on for a little too long and could have been cut short. The two actors in our project did an excellent job because they followed the script did well in moving the story forward. Overall the video came out better than we expected and we are proud of it. We enjoyed coming up with the story because it has that serious tone, but with the editing added in it adds a humorous factor as well and we thought that was pretty cool.<\/p>\n
