A.) During this project, we separated ourselves into specific roles to help with the flow of the entire process. I did most of the audio recording, along with the help of Aiden for a few shots. We also used my apartment for props and a setting for a few of the shots. We all helped with the organization and setup of each scene along with opinions on what we thought should change or stay the same. I also acted in a few scenes towards the end. I believe I completed the task I was given but maybe could’ve helped with the editing a bit more. It’s difficult for everyone to individually get a turn editing and without significant class time to work on it, it was mostly up to one person to do the editing. But, at least for some of the edits, I gave some feedback on whether or not it worked or fit well. Our team was successful very fluidly. Things went smoothly and we all genuinely agreed on everything we produced, couldn’t be happier in that sense. Everyone contributed in some way, but major props to the team member who did the most editing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
B.) Our cameraman was very skilled at using their personal camera to do the filming for the movie. I have no complaints on how his shots were framed or appeared. The lighting may be a bit spotty in some areas, but that’s mostly from poor setup and timing. Shots were in focus and never found myself questioning anything but the lighting throughout the film. The audio was particularly poor, however. The recorder we used did not work very well for outside environments along with shutting doors and generally any peaks (like doors shutting). So, we had to use mostly camera audio which was then edited to fit well and have good levels. There is a scene at the end however where you can’t hear the pizza guy very clearly; we probably should’ve reshot that scene. The acting was fine, no concerns and never disrupts the plot or breaks immersion. The overall effectiveness of the story is clear, but not emotional. It’s clear to understand what is happening in each scene and the overall arc of the plot. But, it’s kind of like “what’s the point?”, “he just had a bad day and then got a big tip, the end”. Easy to follow, but not exactly a work by Christopher Nolan. All in all, everyone worked great together and the film’s production was smooth and successful. Perry performed wonderfully, Claudio filmed beautifully, Aaron edited smoothly, and Aiden also performed well. Wouldn’t have been possible without everyone working well together and using each other’s homes as filming locations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
