A)<\/strong> Our group decided that we are going to ask student on campus on if they think college works with students or against them. We feel like this is a good topic because most people go to college to have careers in a field that they want to work in but on the other hand, we feel like college also works against students by making them spend a lot of money on courses that they may not even need for their decided major. We think college can be a lot simpler by letting students pick a major and then letting them take the courses required for that major which can save money and a lot of time.<\/p>\n

B)<\/strong> The topic we chose is important because it is a thought that I feel a lot of students think about and I feel like the opposing sides are going to be good. I think the students are going to be more on the side of wanting to get out earlier while the professors are going to argue why students should have more classes on the side besides taking classes for their major. When interviewing the students, we will pull them to the side and get their permission first before we ask them the question and for the professors, we will e-mail them and hopefully get a time and date to interview them for a short time. I think the topic is a good size because I think it gives people a good topic to talk about so its not too short but it’s not long to answer.<\/p>\n

C)<\/strong> For the type of material I think subject is the best type of material to use because e-mailing a letter asking someone if we can interview them is what we need to do anyway when it comes to professors. We want to make this project because I think it is a really good topic to talk about since the system is broken because college is all about making money while students want to spend the least amount of money they want and to get out quicker. Most kids, after graduating college, go in debt because their job doesn’t pay enough to pay off the debt. For the team and deciding on what people are going to do things, we decided that I would film, Will Robertson will edit, Nate Reid will interview people, and Will Herboldsheimer and Jared Steinbrecher are undecided at the moment but they are figuring it out. The documentary will take place outside if the outside noise isn’t bad but we may have to resort to inside instead. When interviewing the professors, we are going to try to meet with them during office hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
