Our project is going to be based on whether people feel college is necessary or not. We are in the perfect place to be doing a project on this, having all the resources close to us. We are going to talk about the differences in a college degree, a technical degree, and not going to school at all, and whether it is worth it or not. We are also going to talk to local employers and see what they are looking for in their employees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think this topic is very important to be discussed because I feel like all through high school, everyone is pressuring you into going to college, when in reality, you can get just as good of a job without a college degree or even a 2 year degree. With our topic, we have narrowed it down to focus on the topic we want to, but we can also expand out of that topic of we want to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal with this project is to come to a conclusion on whether college is worth it or not. We are going to interview the Career Center, local employers, and other students to get their insight on the topic. I want to make this film because I feel like it is an interesting topic that could possibly help some high schoolers with choosing what they want to do after high school. We are going to film the documentary around campus mostly. One of the first things we have to work on is talking with students, the Career Center, and local employers and getting interviews with them to get their opinions. Then we can start getting b-roll and editing the video. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
