After doing some in-person brainstorming\nwith my group, we decided to focus on if college works for the benefits of their\nstudents or against them. Since we all go to college and study the same major,\nwe all related to this idea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This idea seems extremely feasible,\ngiven our location and involvement in the University of Maine. All around us we\nhave people that we could interview for our project. The best part is that almost\neveryone will have some sort of opinion on this. Since we have this huge access\nto people to interview, we can have many different points of views. I don\u2019t think\nthe topic that we picked will be too small or too large. Since it is almost necessary\nto attend college nowadays, almost everybody will have some sort of opinion on\nthis and be interested in our video. The topic is bordering on being a little\ntoo big, but I think that we can handle it. The topic we\u2019re investigating seems\nspecific enough to not get lost in the big picture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We should use emails to contact subjects to interview. These\nemails would generally be explaining what we are doing, what we are\ninvestigating, and asking if they would be interested in contributing. We would\nuse these emails to communicate and set up appointments with professors or\nother people in charge on campus. For student interviews we can simply ask\npeople to contribute in a public area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We chose this project because we all relate to it and feel\nthat college is working against us sometimes. We want to get outsider prospective\nand get an overview of what the University of Maine population thinks about it.\nOur team is made up of five people. Colby will be filming, Will Robertson will\nedit, Nate Reid will interview people and direct, and Will Herboldsheimer is\nthe researcher\/ logistics guy. I will be doing the audio. Most of the interviews\nwill most likely be outside, but when we interview professors, we will most\nlikely be in their office. The due date is quickly approaching, so we are\nintending to do all of our interviews and such in the next week. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
