Shot 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide (possible Australian accent)<\/strong>: \u201cI\u2019m Bobby Boomerang, and I\u2019m a leading expert in North American wildlife.  Today we are exploring the University of Maine. There are many exquisite creatures that reside here, but…we are on the hunt for one species, the university student.  Let\u2019s get into it\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\t–Audio over this footage– Guide<\/strong>: \u201cBefore we encounter these creatures, we need to make sure we are prepared to do so.  I am currently meeting up with a local experts on the university student They study these strange creatures and can make sure that we are prepared for what horrors we may find in this (Looks over his shoulder) uncaring 21st century wasteland.\u201d

*NOTE* the expert being interviewed could be a professor, a guidance counselor, RA, or TA most likely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Cut<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Footage of \u201cexpert\u201d talking to the guide. (Could be a sit down with cuts between perspectives or a shot with both of the people in it)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expert<\/strong>: Should generally just talk about stereotypical college student stuff like being depressed, drinking coffee, partying, always being on a phone, working at the library, eating food.  Just basic college life. <\/em>(I would say the more stereotypical the better to make it more stupid, adding to the humor)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide<\/strong>: Probably should just naturally react to what is being said.<\/em> (At the end shake hands and thank the person)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–B roll footage of where the guide will be filming next<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\t<\/em>–Audio over footage– Guide<\/strong>: \u201cThanks to the help of ____ ____ (Expert),  we are now knowledgeable and can properly observe these creatures.  After doing my own research I found that college students tend to be very aggressive and deadly.  We need to be extra careful and make sure we do not get into any trouble.\u201d

Guide<\/strong>: \u201cAs visitors in any foreign environment, we are here to observe and respect the nature.  So, let\u2019s see if we can spot any students.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Guide turns from the camera and starts to cautiously walk while looking for someone.  The cameraman follows. The guide then spots a student.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide<\/strong>: \u201c(to cameraman) Look, look, look.  Are you getting this?\u201d Cameraman zooms into student walking. <\/em>Wow…look at that, just so majestic.  Nature is just incredible. Zooms back out to get the guide with the student in the background.  <\/em>Everytime I come out here I am always amazed.  Gosh\u2026 we are just so blessed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide<\/strong>: \u201cNow that we have got a taste of how these creatures look in their natural habitat, I think it\u2019s time for a closer look.  I am a trained professional, but even then this is extremely dangerous, do not attempt to come close to the creatures if you at home ever encounter one.  Let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide<\/strong>: \u201c(Speaking quietly)<\/em> We have successfully spotted another student and now we are going to cautiously approach.  (Crouching and moving slowly towards person).  Cameraman and guide get super (uncomfortably) close to person on a phone.  The person looks up and just stares at the guide.<\/em>  We\u2019ve been spotted!  (Gets up and sprints the other way with the camera person)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–(Possible cut to another wide shot angle from a distance showing the guide and the cameraman running away from the student that just looks perplexed as to what is happening)<\/em>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guide<\/strong>:  \u201cNow that\u2026(panting) was a close one.  If this doesn\u2019t show how dangerous these creatures can be, I don\u2019t know what will.  Again, why we need to respect nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the interview– may be better if we give the interviewee no context about the nature of the project. The more contrast between the guide\u2019s attitude and the answers we get, the better (i\u2019m assuming?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
