The visual edits typically occur when characters exchange lines, but not every time. Lots of the cuts are made at random times.

There are sound effects, the most prominent one is the final scene where the clock and sword hit each-other, bringing the film to a close. There is very much significant noise from the objets and non dialogue sounds. The effects were not as noticeable as the background noises that were from actors themselves, but the last one was large and noticeable. The sound effects gave out much more emotion and gave more intensity.

The music in the beginning and end of the film. The song at the end sounds like a children’s song, giving a creepy feeling. The song at the beginning is instrumental. The music is at the forefront when it is playin. The music puts a large emphasis on the creepy, dark idea behind growing up. It also puts a large emphasis on drama between kids not wanting to grow up and time.

In the second film, “Joe”, there was no dialogue between the people. The actions and noise created all the sound that the film needed. The film was made with lots of sound effects in lots of small movements. All these little sounds built together told the story.

A very key part in this film was the paint spilling. This showed the strength and importance of sound effects in the film. These sounds are very different and they put an emphasis on the different actions or details. The only music in the film is at the end, when it starts to get into the credits. The song sounds like a type of country song, with guitar or a harmonica. Its upbeat, but sounds like an older song. I think the sound effects were trying to put the building into perspective, from the patients. It gave it a quiet, uncomfortable feeling.

There is dialogue in this film, there is lots of talking between people.
