I feel this is important because not only do we have students that are coming from Maine, but from other states across the country. This means that they could be from a warmer climate, and maybe they\u2019ve never seen snow before. So because some students are form warmer climate they might not know how truly dangerous the winter in Maine can, be and how cold it can get. I want to inform people, how cold and dangerous winter can be, and ask those who do live on campus and in maine how well prepare they are for the winter. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Public Possible Student\/Teacher questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When going to a party, how many layers of clothing do you wear?<\/li><li>How long are you willing to wait outside for a party in the winter?<\/li><li>Do you feel there should be more cancellation of school because of the snow and ice?<\/li><li>Why do you think people go outside without proper attire?<\/li><li>What do you believe to be proper attire for winter?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions for possible interviews:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions for UVAC:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cHow many people are called to UVAC for weather related things?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cAre they trained to deal with weather related injuries?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cWhat causes these weather related injuries, snow, ice, wind?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cHow minor or major are these weather related injuries?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cHas anyone came in with frostbite?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cHow cold does it need to be to get frostbite?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cHow can frostbite be taken care of?\u201d \u201cWhat are the levels of frostbite?\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions for UMPD:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Has there ever been an occasion where classes were not cancelled when you think they should have been, or has the school always made the correct choice in its cancellation policies?<\/li><li>Do you have a policy for helping students out in winter?<\/li><li>Do students always &nbsp;make rational decisions when it comes to their own safety such as going out to parties with less than adaquate clothing.<\/li><li>\u201cOver the past couple of years, how many people have you had to stop or drive because they didn\u2019t have proper clothing on?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cWhat are people\u2019s responses when you stop and help them? Thankful? Or do they want to walk?\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions Medical\/Health Center:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u201cHow does this weather affect people who are sick?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cWho is more likely to be affected by the cold?\u201d<\/li><li>\u201cDo former illnesses make people more susceptible to the cold?
