  1. I was be in charge of conducting the interviews and audio, Colin was in charge of the camera work, John handled the editing, Colleen directed, and Carly was in charge of research and reaching out to people and also helping with audio during some of the interviews. <\/li>
  2. The people and businesses we contacted during the process of filming were OHOP, UMPD, EVAC, and some anonymous staff from campus that we didn’t interviewed but questioned about how UMO is handling winter safety. We interviewed students of UMO as well as the chief of UMPD and a student who works at EVAC. The research that was conducted during filming revolved around the weather in which people viewed as snow day worthy and injuries of students around campus due to the winter conditions. We filmed a decent amount of B-roll that mostly included the winter weather and students walking around campus in winter clothing and some of students in clothing that wouldn’t be recommended for winter weather (such as skirts or shorts). <\/li>
  3. Our rough cut was just all of our footage put into premier so we definitely had room to improve. Our final cut had the clips and interviews into what a documentary is suppose to look like with the audio lined up the way we wanted it and what not. We refined our final cut a tiny bit by cleaning up some shots and cuts and making sure that the audio was peaking too bad throughout the film.<\/li>
  4. I believe that the objectives of the production were fulfilled in our documentary, we heavily relied on the voice of the people as well as some imagery of the winter weather that Maine is plagued with, to get our point across that the students as well as people who work around campus believe that there should be more emphasis on winter safety as well as cancellations due to the fact that there have been times where the weather is potentially hazardous and commuters feel endangered by going to class. <\/li>
  5. I was pretty satisfied with the outcome of our documentary, but if there was anything I would do next time I would probably advise gathering more interviews. You can never have too much footage when it comes to a vox pop type of documentary.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
