The crisis that sets him on his journey is when the first group of people get in the elevator with him and this shows introduces the problem that the elevator is getting crowded. When confronting the crisis he struggles trying to get off the elevator because since more people are getting on, he feels that the weight limit is being exceeded. He then exits the elevator and waits for a new one to come up. As the new one arrives he gets in and then finds himself surrounded by sick people. Once again he has another conflict on his hands and that what makes the story. His situation went from bad to worse.

For the looks of the film, it’s not cinematic. The light looks a little dull and the quality isn’t the best but it gives it a more realistic feel. Shots on the inside of the elevator look dull but then when the doors open up to the hallway its a little brighter and has a warmer feel than when in the elevator.

The shots were all still so the camera was on a tripod the whole time. There were no camera angles that panned around or followed the character. The shots always focus on the main character as he is always in the middle of both elevators and you can always see his face.

The style of this video is more comedy. It shows because when the bigger people start to get on the elevator he starts to look around nervously and sees the weight limit of the elevator. He then proceeds to pull out his phone, goes on the calculator app, and look at each individual person and punches in numbers on how much he thinks they weigh. As he adds them up the number gets close to the weight limit and the final person he sees is really big and this causes him to rush out of the elevator. As he switches elevators the conflict goes from bad to worse as he then discovers that the new elevator contain a bunch of people with the swine flu.

For this analysis I chose to write about The Elevator.
