A.) Process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. I specifically helped shoot video, set up scenes to record audio, helped set up framework for shots, and provided ideas on what shots could look like from certain angles.<\/li>
  2. I was prepared for every instance in which we filmed. I was ready at the location with the other group members on time. We did work on editing during lab and Arturo was helpful with suggestions on what to change. The edit wasn’t quite complete, but given the time extension, the edit came together much better than our rough draft. It contained music and other sound elements to enhance video quality, along with good b-roll and some nice shots to make it all come together well.<\/li>
  3. All of us actually worked really well together. We didn’t necessarily disagree on anything and the process was very fluid. It seemed like we showed up knowing what we were doing and successfully completed the plan efficiently. Our shots were coordinated well together because every team member gave good advice on what could look best in the certain situation. Also the way we set up the audio recorder in some of the shots was set up well and was hypothesized through collaboration.<\/li>
  4. I think that if I was to work on a project again, I would like the same feeling of efficiency and fluidity throughout the whole process. No one skipped out or didn’t do anything and was nice to work well with everyone.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    B.) Video Analysis (Notes on rough draft presented Friday in lab)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The overall message of the promo was effective. It gave a good look into what UVAC does and accomplishes. Although simple, it’s all that seems necessary. The editing and sound, however, were lacking at the beginning. But for the rest of the film seemed fine, just slow.<\/li>
    2. The shots sometimes were a little bit slow. A little around the 10-second mark between cuts making it a little boring (Sorry Nate). The sound was super jumpy in the beginning but mellowed out to a good level after like 20 seconds. But, it’s deceiving so you turn up the volume and then it blows your speakers. <\/li>
    3. Quiet intros + 149dbs = blown speakers. The music went well with the video though after the initial blow.<\/li>
    4. The dialogue felt really scripted (which is a good thing) but he was literally just speaking his own experience and really shows how wise he is. It made the dialogue seem so real and truthful, and like he was speaking from something personal.<\/li>
    5. I’m sorry Arturo for the speakers, but at least you now know about all the good that UVAC does and has to offer for not only UMaine residents but Orono as well. The video’s impact is as good as it can get for solely getting the message across about “UVAC awareness”, so to speak.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      C.) Client Analysis<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. I think I addressed most of the issues everyone did in class. The audio, in the beginning, was rough, and how slow the pace was, but other than that, classmates seemed to like Nate as a person and how the music went well with it.
