They have great times together until she is hit by a car\/ some other accident, and goes into an unresponsive coma. The man visits her every day for a long time but she never shows any signs of acknowledging him. One day he is eating his lunch there, and he drops the hot dog he is eating on himself. The girl cracks an almost unnoticeable smile and the man is ecstatic. He then brings more hot dogs\/eats\/cooks them to humor her, and she still cracks a slight smile every time. Later, he comes back wearing a hot dog costume and she has a larger smile. He wears the suit around everywhere, enduring bullying and harassment from other people.
