I will be analyzing The Elevator <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The protagonist is the man who is seen first in the elevator. The initial struggle begins with the protagonist trying to reach an upper floor of a building and thus needs to take the elevator. He is then met by a number of obese characters who start to crowd the elevator and make the protagonist very uncomfortable to the point where he changes elevators, where he is met by very sick people. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2.   Theres a rather shallow depth of field so that every character is clearly visible. This has the effect of making the film seem more lifelike and less like a movie. The light in the film is very bright in the elevator as there is a central light shining in to illuminate the protagonist\u2019s face to see his expressions of disgust. The color is very bland lots of muted colors makes it very corporate looking. The look of the film kind of looks like footage from a security cam in the elevator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3.    The camera is set steady with no movement pan or zoom. It mostly switches between a shot facing the crowd, and facing out the door and once from above. The main character is mostly framed in the center of the screen surrounded by other people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4.    The overall effect of the movie is rather comical as the viewer can picture themselves in the same situation. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
