A. Self-Reflection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. I think the hardest part of this project was thinking of an idea. I spent days trying to think of something that I could do. Maybe I’m not very creative when it comes to videos. Other than that, editing the footage down to only 60 seconds was very hard and I ended up submitting it with 7 extra seconds. <\/li>
  2. The actual filming was a ton of fun. I did it with my roommate and had a great time. <\/li>
  3. I was proud of the edits I had where I was running and the camera angle switched, I think those came out very smooth. I was also happy that I remembered how to color correct and such, even though it didn’t come out amazing. <\/li>
  4. I learned that although I don’t particularly enjoy making, editing, or critiquing videos, I can still have a good time with them. I ended up having a fun time filming with my roommate and even the editing wasn’t bad. Even with a terrible phone camera, minimal editing skills, and a short time frame, the video came out pretty good. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    B. Video Analysis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Most of the shots were mid-range and stationary. A few shots included panning. A few were close ups and others a far ways away. Despite the bad camera, none of the shots look terrible. <\/li>
    2. I included minimal dialogue, about 4 lines. The dialogue is all relatively clear considering it was recorded from my phone. <\/li>
    3. I think given the requirement of a 60 second video, the pacing is fast, but it is still not hard to figure out what is happening. I personally think almost all my shots and edits were timed very nicely. The only really jarring moment I found was when it goes from me being outside to back inside. <\/li>
