Finding a time where my interviewee was free was probably the most challenging part of my project. He is a very busy guy so I was only able to have him for about an hour. Luckily we were able to finish everything in that span of time. Aspects that were most enjoyable was definitely getting to know my interviewee personally, as he is the president of my fraternity and up until this point, I hadn’t really gotten to know him personally. This project made me realize how fun it is to interview someone, especially when the questions I’m asking are being heard by the participant for the first time. It doesn’t give the person time to prepare and results in a more organic conversation with organic responses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this interview, I used two cameras; a go-pro and a DSLR camera. I set the DSLR camera up at a medium shot in front of my participant and mounted the go pro from up above at an angle looking down on my participant. The dialogue is clear. There is music at the ending credits of my interview to wrap everything up. The pacing of the interview is good. Every time I switch cameras I held the shot for about 15-25 seconds. There might be a couple edits in there that don’t exactly match up but all in all i’m proud of my work. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
