In the world of runners, every runner has a specific reason behind why they run. The focus of this film is the discovery of the underlying motivation behind this particular runner&#8217;s &#8220;reason to run&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In retrospect, this is one of my favorite projects. I had a lot of fun filming the various shots using techniques I learned in class, in filming. In the editing process, I was enthusiastic to play around with the varying options and tools I was able to use to best manifest the story that I wanted to tell. Given more time and another chance at filming, I would&#8217;ve chosen a different setting to film the interview, as the audio was pretty overwhelmed by the sounds of rain pit-pattering against the metal roof of the field house.
