When comparing this project to project one, I feel that this one had less structured roles. There was much more collaboration, other than the editor. To make this film, we decided our topic then considered the different options we had for our \u201cexpert\u201d. We narrowed it down to the professor of the course Human Sexuality. We emailed her and she agreed to meet with us. We then went to the union and asked a handful of students if we could interview them. We asked them all the same questions and. The answers varied for each person. For the B-roll we used the students of Maine, different facts and pictures of definitions. We thought that using the students would be a good clip because they were a big part of the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When making the final edit of the video, a lot of the adjustments were cutting the clips into shorter segments. It was hard to decide on what answers we should keep and eliminate. We didn\u2019t have to do any re-shooting, but we kept creating new ideas for B-roll. I think that the answers we got were much better than expected because the students were much more open than we thought they would be. A big issue we had with the group was that there weren\u2019t set roles for everyone, although we had equal input it got confusing at times because we weren\u2019t sure who decided what. The video turned out well and finding people to intervuew was much easier than expected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
