The boy took his time to make a collar that tells us that he wants to have a relationship with the dog. The boy doesn’t want to hurt the dog at all.

where the setting took place was a clear hierarchy between all the people that were shown in the film. The oldest White male has the highest authority and that he makes the rules.

The shots were thought up to only show the viewers the information that they wanted them to know. There weren’t many times there was a lot of information but just enough for the viewer to know what was going on.

Overall the pace was slow, there wasn’t much dialogue. The only time it picks up is when there is something happening between to people, like when the boy had to put the dog in a bag and at the very end where there is a lot of information that is shown for the viewer to see.

I feel like the visual and the sonic elements creates a strong impact, are great in this film. I believe the timing and placement of the cuts are perfect, for the viewers to get the information that they want us to see and understand what is going on. There is all ways enough going on in each cut for everyone to understand what is going on

Bambi

The main character in this film was at the beginning Bambi and his mother. Bambi gets the most development, between the two because his mother doesn’t make it throughout the film.

The setting is kinda set from the brightness of the images in the movie. It starts out bright and happy. But once something happens to Bambi’s mother things start to get darker while he runs away from the hunter. The scene also changed with denser forest that he was going through while it kept getting darker the further he ran away.

In Bambi it was fairly between close up and some wide angle shots, The close ups were for talking scenes or showing what someone was doing something. While the wide shots were to show what was around the characters or to show the environment that was around them.

The edits were similar to Inja’s it was slow when not much was happening. But when action happens it actually speeds up dramatically. For when the hunter gets close and Bambi has to run away the cuts happens every few seconds.

the light of the picture and the sound of the film is what creates the emotions of this film for the view. one moment its light and happy, but when it gets dark it starts to get sad. The filmmakers did a excellent job on making the death a minor character feel emotionally draining that was used to create Bambi’s story.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

16,46

post-770","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-a1","category-lab1"],"featured_image_urls_v2":
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index-150x142.jpg",150,142,true
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index-300x120.jpg",300,120,true
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index-110x110.jpg",110,110,true],"1536x1536":["https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false],"2048x2048":["https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index.jpg",355,142,false
https://jolineblais.net/nmd106/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/index-300x120.jpg",300,120,true]},"post_excerpt_stackable_v2":"
The two main characters in this short film, are the boy and the dog that were introduced at the beginning playfully together.
