A) Brainstorming
- When it comes to what we want to do with this project the students and RA stand out because they could have some interesting stories and can answer the questions we want to ask them
- When we start filming, we are probably going to stick to on-campus because that is where we can get the best footage
- I usually like to hang out with my friends on campus either to have fun or to study for a class

I think if people feel safe on campus can something to look into because it would be interesting to see what people think

If looking at economic activity, I can see the mall outside of campus

Events could be the parties that happen on campus

We could probably get students inputs on if the workload here is manageable and not too much
- I do not have any footage linked to anything one or on some event
B)Feasibility
When looking at the subjects that were brainstormed safety on campus was the that will have the most material to work with. This topic is appropriate because it is an ongoing thing to see if students feel safe when on campus. With this topic, we have enough people to interview to get the amount of footage we need. I think this topic is not too big or too small and is just right because I think we have plenty of material to work with in order for this film come out great.
C) Development (Pitch)
Hi, we are filming a documentary about safety on campus and will be interviewing people around the university like RA’s, campus police, faculty, and students who are willing to participate. The reason we wanted to do this film was that this is an ongoing question and we want to see peoples inputs. If some people say they do not feel safe, they can give feedback on how to improve it. Another reason is that there could be some stories that the individuals we interview can tell. We are a team of five that will be creating this project with me helping with the camerawork and editing. This project will be filmed throughout the UMaine campus. We are about done with the interview questions, and now we need to schedule interviews and get the footage that we need. Then after we get some B-roll, our team will be ready to edit and create a final product.
