The Species of the College Student: A Documentary

For this project, our group proposes that we create an observational nature documentary centered around the lives of college students in the narrative of an Animal-Planet-esque perspective. We plan on interviewing everyday college students, with an emphasized focus towards lab assistants, research assistants, or faculty members and staff. The purpose of the documentary is to create insight on college students in a distinctive, comic-based, Steve-Irwin-like perspective rather than create a dull and straightforward purposed documentary. The locations that we will aim to use as settings would be common areas around the University, such as lecture halls, the library, the food courts, or the Mall. Additionally, we will be using narration throughout the film as our main method of reporting.
