A. Brainstorming
- Out of all people I can think of, I’d say that my two biggest inspirations in my life would be Donald Glover and LaKeith Stanfield. They are both actors who have uniquely made a name for themselves whilst also not falling into a life of greed and appreciate using their influence for the betterment of society.
- There aren’t too many places that would really interest me, but perhaps like Barcelona or a place with beautiful architecture.
- I’m personally interested in skateboarding and making films.
- I’m not really sure how to determine my interests in certain behaviors but I tend to have a good time when people decide to question things that we take for granted.
- OHOP, UMPD, EVAC
- I am not really aware of any events at the moment of this writing.
- I guess I wish that assignments didn’t randomly pile up due to the fact that multiple teachers give out big assignments at around the same time by chance.
- No footage at the time.
B. Feasibility
- The topic we as a group chose was winter safety regarding the weather and hazards that come with the winter. I believe that this topic is highly acceptable due to the location of our campus.
- The location is around campus and maybe some buildings like UMPD and EVAC so I believe that these are accessible buildings to partake in interviews.
- & 4. Our topic is a little broad but that leaves room for more unique opinions when it comes to interviewing people. We could question people about the snow days that never happen despite the hazardous road conditions and the low visibility during the snow storms.
C. Development
Crew – I will be in charge of conducting the interviews and audio, Colin is in charge of the camera work, John’s got the editing, Colleen will be directing, and Carly is in charge of research and reaching out to people and also helping with audio during some of the interviews. We aim to bring light to the harsh conditions of the weather in hopes that people will be more aware and careful whilst commuting around in the winter weather. The setting will be around the University of Maine campus. We also aim to get most of the filming done early on, with a lot of the B Roll being filmed hopefully during a snow storm or some type of potentially dangerous weather.
