Topic
For this project, as a group, we came up with the following ideas and possible clients: The Nest (A local coffee shop downtown), The Bangor Humane Society (A community-based humane society that aims to build better lives for adoptable animals), and The Focus Ring/Stillwater Lab (a lab on campus that allows resources for students to utilize throughout their New Media careers).
Sounds
Noises and sounds for this topic might include noises of the coffee-making process, interviews with students or teachers or business owners, interviews with volunteers at the humane society. All of these sounds would contribute to introducing the stories of the clients.
Writing
For our project, our top choice would be The Focus Ring/Stillwater Labs. The intended audience would be geared towards New Media students who may want to be introduced to the resources that are on campus, specifically in these labs. That would be the objective of the project to introduce students to the location of the lab, the resources that exist within the lab, who to contact, who runs the labs, etc.
