A: I know the things I can depend on are camera shots. I think I have a good understanding of which shots to use for which reasons in order to create the mood or atmosphere I want. I think I am also pretty decent at editing things in order to fit my vision and to keep the pacing smooth and appropriate.
B: Some of the things I need to work on are the sound editing and capturing. I’ve done some sound work in previous projects, but have also kind of struggled with them.
For my project, I’ve been thinking about doing a little short of a day in the life of me. I want it to be a more reflective piece with reflection being the primary mood and theme. I’m worried about not having time to give that idea justice in a one minute video, because I envision that conveying reflection in a video will need serious pauses. If this doesn’t work out, I think I might try to do the same thing in a more comedic and less serious tone. I like this idea, but am not fully in love with it yet. I’m also thinking about some other things like:
- My love for video games.
- A more narrative piece.
- Or something related to dogs because like, who doesn’t love dogs?
