Writing 4-NateR

When brainstorming for this project, I think of several different ways to make this 60 second film. I’m not sure whether I want to take a comedic approach to this film or a more serious approach. Also, do I want to use a really expensive camera and make it look nice? Or do I even need a nice camera if the content of the film is good enough. I am considering making a film based on something that interests me. Maybe something sports related. I have this idea that involves lots of cool transitions and shots of an athlete trying to make it to the pros. Something that inspired this idea are the NIKE commercials. It would be that style of film. It would consist of several shots of the life of an athlete making mistakes and learning from those mistakes and eventually reaching their goal in the end. If I were to shoot this film I would use a nice camera to ensure the quality of the shots and transitions came out to the way I picture them to. And if I’m getting nice shots with the sunset in the background I would want it to look nice in the more so I would use a more appropriate camera. Before shooting I would make sure to have all the scenes I wanted planned out and the positioning of the camera all figured out so when it came to filming, I would be much more prepared.
