A.

  1. The people who think outside the norm are the most interesting. Our goal is find people like this. Their thinking might be looked at as weird or wrong but in the end they could be right.
  2. There are lots of places that spark my interest. I would say that the large corporations that basically run everything like Apple are the most interesting.
  3. I am regularly involved in serval physical activities like sports and exercise.
  4. I notice that some people aren’t motivated. This may be because they think that their outcome in life wont be a positive outcome so it’s not worth trying.
  5. There are multiple small local businesses I am familiar with. Some are successful and some are not.
  6. Some people are starting to realize that University’s are a cooperation and all they do is take peoples money. There are two sides to this topic so it’s perfect.
  7. I have thought to myself before while sitting in a geography class, “why do I have to take this class?”. The point being, the University is forcing students to give up money to take these classes that most likely they already took in high school AND they will play no part in a persons future.
  8. I do not have footage linked to this topic yet.

B.

  1. The topic we chose is perfect. It all relates to us and it is more than acceptable in our current context.
  2. The topic being: The University is taking our money, is very easily accessible to gain information regarding our topic. We should be able to get the permission we need no problem.
  3. I believe our topic is the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. It covers a subject where there are two clear sides, therefore making it relatable for everyone. Which is key in a documentary. Or any film for that matter.
  4. If our topic was any bigger we would start to see more and more perspectives that we don’t want/need to see as they aren’t relevant for out main subject. Our topic is very specific and clear and should provide plenty of information.

C.

  1. (c). Our goal is to make people more away of the amount of money University’s are taking from students and controlling every situation to where the University will always achieve the positive outcome.

2.

a. Is the University stealing money from people? We plan to interview many students and staff in hopes to get different perspectives on the subject.

b. We want to make this project to make the situation more aware to people. Our topic was never really something I thought about until we discussed it as a team. It’s also a topic that a lot of people would have interest in, whether it’s to support it or fight against it. And a third reason is we want to know what the majority of people would have to say regarding the subject. We want to see if they think we are stupid for even coming up with this idea or if they are 100% on board with the idea and want to make more people aware as well.

c. I will be the one conducting the interviews, so I will have a microphone that I carry around and ask people our questions.

d. The doc will be made right here on campus, as the subject is about the University.

e. We plan on getting as many interviews as possible so we have lots to work with. After we record the interviews we will gather the best ones and the best quotes and piece those together along with several appropriate shots for the topic.
