The protagonist is the man in the elevator. The max weight capacity was 2000 pounds and the people getting on the elevator with him were getting increasingly fatter. This scared the tiny man. This struggle led him to get off the elevator, and board another one with people all around his size. He seemed happier about this elevator ride until he soon realized that everyone on board with him was very ill with a highly contagious sickness. His new normal is being sick instead of being maybe dead. The film didn’t do much in terms of extremely specific light or camera manipulation. But it did use the effect of color manipulation well with the scene in which a very very large man came storming toward the elevator when it was already past its max capacity. The man was wearing a popping orange t-shirt, and blue shorts. The use of contrast between these colors highlighted the large man even more and showed to the audience that this was a BIG deal with the protagonist. The framing of the shot was well done. Using a wide shot like they did inside of an elevator, almost exaggerating the space that was actually there by fitting as much into the shot as possible.
