“Depression and the Secret to Happiness

What I learned from this video is how vital depression in human emotions change the way actions are taken place. From choosing the baboon example, being depressed will cause more problems to increase the recession resulting in putting yourself corner. With nowhere to go or nothing to go from doing for the situation. It’s an ultimate trap to end your connection to life itself, which is sad to see and feel. But what I got from this video is the importance of taking in action rather than emotionally trying to treat depression. When people come together than just people saying it, it is more emotionally impactful for real aid.

PLUGGED IN: The True Toxicity of Social Media Revealed (Mental Health Documentary)

When viewing this video on toxic relationships within social media, I paused and thought about all of these people’s experiences and stories. About how they feel about the participation taken to put them self’s in those situations. Asking why people feel the need to share their life experiences, thoughts, feelings, etc. the best way to display that is using social media? On why caring for what or who you are is vital about what other people think of you is the real answer on what the description says. It’s the force of social relation in media that creates this happening that puts specific categories on things and people. This labeling is widespread in doing so because of knowing that its virtual interaction being so open to anything. Letting freedom of expression flow on, however, is perceived to have a safe environment where you can’t be physically interpolated with action.

“Gerd Leonhard, TED Talk”

In the ted talk is overviews the idea of human digital connection. How will it shape our future and what reaction with one another be different? Well, I think that going forward with technology and humans keep innovating new ways to improve the lifestyle by artificial intelligence is the tool, is debatable on how it will behave. Will creating computers to due what humans help us improve the living, or will it destroy all kind of life that exists? It’s more of a choice that humans need to decide on how to expend and spend the entity that will solve all the problems in a more natural method.

“Is the internet changing the way we think.”

This video got my attention to thinking about the video being used for the part of its role, to educate the viewer of thinking. When consuming a video, you’re using it to visually understand the information, which I consider a way we think by using sense. It alters the way we interact, making it a useful tool for people who need a way to see it rather than hear it. Which the internet is excellent for all kinds of ways to make you think in many interactions available to your advantage. I would also look at it how it’s being used to know how the impact is being productive.

One problem I see social media mentally impacting society’s lifestyle is how much time we put into looking at our electronic devices for a way to find stimulus distraction. Why am I interested in this? Is because we just get way addicted to our self-worth than what the real world holds us. Trying to find the meaning of if its healthy to consume large amounts of attention on other people’s content and your appearance worth the time instead of the time you can use to devote to your passions. Trying to answer why you should care about your attention at all and what should you do with your attention other than spend it on social media?

Concept One:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dntL1uJUYDA

(Making more time useful with controlling technology usage)

This source is a summary of a video on a Harvard college student who explains why he stopped going on his phone right after waking up. With limiting technology to help him guide his way to a productive but a positive mindset throughout the day. Trying not to have social media take control of how the tone should be for the day, but how to make way to use that time effectively without causing chaos and distraction. By explaining that once you let social media take over the mindset in the first part of the day, it’s more likely for it to follow you mentally throughout the day.

Along with the idea that nobody cares when you respond, and nothing exciting happens in a short period that seems to matter. But by exposing yourself to the notifications and messages, it is a distraction in the things you want to focus on but also caring about the kind of person you want to be and feel. I can relate to this very strongly as well because I make the same habits every morning and throughout the day. As so, why I care about this is making my mental health more calming, so I could wake up fresh and use that time to meditate. This strategy helps me have a healthier mind, and time is used effectively to progress in life, reflecting on good habits for a happier self. I rather have social media be an option for use than something that I am forced to interact with and take time away from the important things that mean more to self or life.

Concept Two:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgRVT-_J8fo&t=271s

(Strange addiction)

This is also a summary of the same by the same person who talks about his strange dependence on his phone and technology itself. Going further on how using these tools is mentally changing and taking over his life by just the kind of content that was being consumed. With having both positive and negative effects on social media, trying to understand the time used appropriately to balance a healthful lifestyle. Adding that time to build on and improve self and passions by using useful strategies to stop that attention to addiction. This also made me look back on the question of caring for this problem and how to improve with strategies to help the attention go to better use. What I found out is its really a mentally habit on the way it’s handled, by the choices that are made will be the result outcome. If you apply some strategies to help that addiction, then the better you will feel about accomplishing your goals and create a controlling environment that won’t put you in a mental disorder of bad habits. It’s more of correlations among using social media than the causation aspect. What’s the relationship telling you about specific apps that drag you into further interest that may be good or bad, but how it controls you at the very end.

5.

From the information gathered On this topic, I have to say my knowledge has grown more too what is the meaning and value of using social media and how it is critical in the day to day life of a person. Would opening more ideas on how you could approve your mental state do better have affection too many issues that blocks you from reality versus nonreality. Meaning that looking at how things are used or put in into how it feels about when using it is the way that mental health works in technology and social media. Making more of an idea of correlation between those ideas more than giving a perspective of the causation on why is the reason that people get attached to all of these problems. Which brings into what is deliberate intention and the value it holds. Expanding the idea on both personal anecdotal experience as well as objective research to better have a clear point to argue on with not relating to data.

6.

To the suggestion of a new social media platform for the younger generation and the youth to have a good experience, I thank the best way is creating a place that has more interaction involvement. With taking on interest that people want to talk about or share their findings, but to collaborate to work together or just have a good time sharing experiences. What this creates is inner connection on self-development and others progresses that could openly make something great out of it. Making use of the time on the essential values that are meaningful in life, but also bring in an environment that is positive all the time. This can potentially work because it’s the opposite of what social media is today categorized as. Like Instagram, only use of sharing your personal life experiences that may bring in people having to judge and care about it can be depressing and time-consuming. But with matching interest on the same likening’s builds a community that has others wanting to involve more in connection. So creative ideas and experiences are the outcome of development which is positively healthy for anyone’s life for the meaning of what an individual purpose in living life fully.
