For my journal 4 projects tackling a problem, I decided to design a dress. I bet you are asking how can a dress solve a problem? Well, this dress is made from a reflective material that when photographed blackes everything out but the material. This material is typically used when running as when drivers headlight hits it the runner becomes very visible for or more for the person of this project, celebrities use the material to create clothes to protect from paparazzi. I wanted to create everyday wear with this material to create privacy. In this day and age, everything feels digital and living in the moment feels impossible.  By wearing these photo ruining garments it gives privacy to the wearer and to enjoy whatever the occasion without fear of being photographed and keeping their life private. Just like celebrities we want privacy too especially from the ever-growing digital world.
