CRITICAL THINKING
- “Taking things with a grain of salt” -taking the time to investigate the things you’re being told to gain your own knowledge.
- Evaluate work/tasks.
- identify what you want to solve or question and gather data and thoughts.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions
- Putting time restraints on devices to allow a technology rest for your brain
- Be creative, find something that creatively speaks to you to engage your thinking.
Disconnecting for small amounts at a time may help you to refocus on the tasks at hand without felling overwhelmed, wether this is stretching, getting outside, going for a small drive etc.
Other notes from lab;
-finding ways to cater to age groups you’re trying to engage, such as the desired platforms etc
Topic for my video; my video will include ways to disconnect from technology in addition to examples of how social media isn’t always what it seems and how to use critical thinking when being presented information, etc.
