I’ve seen a lot of memes online recently about people with unhealthy mindsets about relationships. This meme about spongebob reads “Heavy on the ‘if they wanted to the would’ve’ mindset.” This is projecting a very unfriendly stance on their friend having to be there 24/7 even when they’re not feeling the best.

Speaking from personal experience, sometimes I lack “Object Permanence” for better words, so when somebody or something isn’t on the top of my mind, I sometimes forget. This can be a problem when it comes to inviting friends to things because sometimes it’s not that I don’t want them there, I just forgot about them at first.

To combat this I made another spongebob meme but this time he’s happy and it reads “respecting your friends boundaries and supporting them through the good and bad days.” I think this would be a successful internet meme, but not as successful compared to the other. I do think it would be successful because it is also spongebob which would help reach the right audience to make it impactful.
