Design from Patterns to Details

This principle is all about building off of what is already there; basing design off of whatever infrastructure already exists. Fitting itself into the landscape without unnecessary changes. I figured that an appropriate way to think of this design principle would be as a puzzle piece being placed. Whatever tech we design or implement should fit into the whatever surrounds it, instead of smashing its way in or overwriting something else. Its progression should feel natural, and should fit into the puzzle of our existence.

When creating the logo itself, I struggled with what should be in the actual foreground of the puzzle piece. Ultimately I decided upon a simplistic natural landscape; the idea being that our tech shouldn’t overwrite or take away from the first puzzle piece we were given, our planet. Whatever we make should seamlessly fit into that.
